Unit Test Preparation
Because English is a skills-based Curriculum, test preparation consists mostly of practicing the skills taught in lessons, especially reading comprehension and writing. However, it is important that you review definitions and are prepared to identify examples of the terms on your short story study guide. See the link at the top of this page to download your study guide.
For future website development: (this section is notes to Mr. McKinnon for future development, but you may find some useful information here)
- PLOs Addressed in this Unit (For now, please see the link to curriculum on the course home page)
- Assignments and marks summary (for now, this will be discussed in class)
- rubrics (for now, we will use a modified version of the BC Performance Standards on a 6-point scale)
- graphic organizers (plot lines, paragraph planners, brain storming/mind mapping, etc;)
